One teacher, three disciplines
I teach violin, and I coach cycling and inline skating. People are often surprised the three sit together, but they are the same job. Someone wants to be able to do a thing they currently cannot do, and they need it broken into steps that are small enough to actually take.
Inspire, learn, progression. In that order, and none of them skipped.
Why I teach in five elements
The two bars we repeat until the shift finally lands. Precision is not strictness. It is knowing exactly which small thing to fix next, and fixing only that one.
